The Licensed Branch Assistant is responsible for providing assistance to the assigned production team or Loan Officers in originating and processing loans.
 
Loan Originations
·         Solicit loans from consumers
·         Work with clients by phone and in-person gathering required information to complete an Application.
·         Research and develop loan scenarios to best fit borrower’s needs and financial circumstances by comparing product profiles and pricing.
·         Collect and analyze information regarding income, assets, investments, and debts.
·         Determine which financial products best meet customer needs and financial circumstances
·         Gather and analyze facts, and provide consulting advice to assist customers in choosing among many complex financial products, communicating advantages and disadvantages of different financial products and recommend best fit.
·         Determine what documents and signatures are required for a completed loan package
o    Request, pick-up and/or deliver necessary documents.
·         Quote rates, programs and payments to Clients.
·         May lock interest rates.
Complete package and prepare for Opener
Processing
·         Expedite loan processing and underwriting working with designated Processing team.
·         Communicate all processor needs directly to clients
·         Analyze underwriting conditions, offering alternative solutions to Underwriter as warranted.
·         Work with Clients to get additional information so Conditions may be cleared
·         Update Clients on loan processing status.
·         Open escrow and title orders.
·         Contact clients with any post-closing issues and resolve issues.
·         Provide high-level customer service to LO Clients.
Resolve Problem upon conditioning, suspension, or denial of loan
·         Determine other methods or documentation to meet investor guidelines
·         Determine best method to resolve problems and advise Loan Officers
Compare and evaluate available loan products to determine whether a different loan program can resolve problems to close loan and minimize risk.
New Loan Officer On-boarding
·         Act as branch liaison to provide support and assistance to ensure all new LOs oriented and on boarded in timely manner.
·         Provides training & development relative to Company Policies and Procedures
·         Assists and follows up on Licensing requirements (including logging into NMLS)
·         Education of LOs, SMs, and other sales support staff regarding compliance changes
·         Put a call out to all new loan officers to welcome them, assist them in how to get rates, how to lock, etc.
·         Ensure loan officers are provided with necessary equipment, passwords, and resources needed to originate loans on their first day of employment
·         Provide internal support and information
·         Provide help and support for Company loan workflow and systems including Pronet, Contour, TeamSite, TimeSaver, HRIS, etc.
·         Arrange introductions for team members.
Coaching and Training
·         Work with Loan Officers to improve the quality and the submission of the loan application and file, if necessary.
·         Provide training to Loan Officers and Realtors as requested.
·         Review ProNet entry for accuracy as requested by Loan Officer or Agent
Miscellaneous
·         Direct marketing projects for LO
o    Work with Marketing department to ensure materials are produced as requested and on time
·         Order pay-off documents for Clients for out-of-state loans.
·         Work planning, prioritization and assignment
·         Ensure compliance with Company Policies
·         Meet position requirements and objectives
·         Demonstrate and encourage integrity and alignment with Company Vision, Mission and Values
·         Other duties as assigned
