Technical Writer and Content Manager
 
            Responsible for the development and execution of editorial projects for internal and external audiences. Will work collaboratively with management throughout the assigned division to develop, document, and maintain written processes, procedures, manuals, and other related content across the business. Documentation may variously take the form of procedures manuals, product manuals, and internal and/or external communications. Role will facilitate adoption and usage of appropriate Content Management solution for distribution and management across multiple platforms, databases, and applications.
 
 

 

 

   
  Work with a wide range of stakeholders, including operations management, servicing management, Legal, IT, etc., to understand, clarify, create, and update document contents.    
  Prepare written text, and design/coordinate the layout and organization of manuals and other documents/media.    
  Collaboratively develop policy and procedure documents with managers, utilizing their expert knowledge to create a clear, comprehensive, and yet comprehensible products for others    
  Design content assets to maximize reuse and minimize effort to manage the content.    
  Utilize effective project management tools, including planning, scheduling, researching, and following-up, while using sound judgment to allow flexibility and change where appropriate.    
  Perform additional duties as required

·         Flexibility and adaptability in a fluid and rapidly changing environment
·         Willingness to do more than basic job requirements as needed
 
IV.              Education, Training and Experience Required: 
a.      Special courses/licenses needed:
Specialized training for technical writing/process management a plus
b.      Formal education required.  
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent skills and knowledge
c.       Prior experience needed:
5+ years of relevant work experience in technical writing and/or content management
Minimum 3 years policies and procedures analysis and documentation development experience in the mortgage lending industry required
d.      How many weeks, months, or years of experience is required to do the job satisfactorily (both on-the-job and prior experience):
