Data Warehouse and Reports Manager
I. Major Functions:
This position is responsible for interfacing with the business stakeholders to analyze, understand, and document business needs/problems related to reporting, data warehouse, and data marts. This position will be responsible for managing and delivering projects related to reporting, data warehouse, and data marts.
Work with business leaders and stakeholders to strategize and define organization-wide business intelligence and reporting needs and integrate them into a cohesive delivery roadmap.

o Evaluate, select, and implement new technologies and development tools for reporting, dashboards, BI application design, development, testing, and documentation
o
o Periodically review and ensure that industry best practices (policies, standards, processes, quality assurance) are institutionalized in the organization.
o
o Drive current and future Data Warehouse, data marts, and reporting direction.
o
o Establishes development standards/best practices related to business intelligence and reporting.
o
o Manage, deliver, code, and test projects/enhancements related to reporting, data warehouse, and data marts.
Acts as liaison between the Business Team, Business System Analysts, IT Development, IT Operations and external service providers.
X Supervision
Work planning, prioritization and assignment; establish and monitor accountability for subordinates job responsibilities
Align staff to achieve departmental and company goals and objectives
Training and team-building; staff development for professional and corporate growth; coaching, mentoring and counseling
Timely performance management (appraisals, reviewing and approving work; rewards and disciplinary action; conflict resolution)
Interviewing and hiring decisions; promotions and demotions
Termination of employees within Company Policies and Practices (reviewed by HR)
Ensure compliance with Company Policies
Demonstrate and encourage integrity and alignment with Company Vision, Mission and Values

Must be hands-on; must have performed roles such as data modeler, data analyst, report developer, BI architect, and BI project manager

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English including listening and retaining critical information and the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to be flexible, prioritize work, and follow through in order to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Must be able to interface effectively with all levels of personnel.
Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be strong and effective communicator.

Must have experience building, managing, and working with offshore teams.
Technical Skill Sets Required:
Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2008 and 2012, and SSRS.
Strong experience in design and development of data warehouse and data marts.
Strong experience in design and development of ETL processes and OLAP cubes.
IV. Education, Training and Experience Required:

BS in Computer Science preferred, or equivalent skills and knowledge
c. Prior experience needed:
Previous mortgage industry experience
10+ years of experience in Data Warehouse, Data Marts, Reporting, OLAP, and Business Intelligence solutions, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
